We Believe In Possibility
We believe the future is bright, and we consciously choose optimism over doubt. We know anything is possible because we believe in magic and we are here to grow.

Sirini Pillay, M.D. made one random phone call to Harvard that changed his course in life. He wrote that, "success in anything, whether it is relationships, work, or career or school requires tapping into the brain's navigator. He explains that memories, emotions, thoughts and intuition are all "data" that the brain processes to construct a map to lead us subconsciously to our dreams.
When I was 12, I had a prominent member of my community tell me I was headed down a dead-end road. I am paraphrasing here! I was much more detailed than that, but the message was clear. I must have been acting like an annoying pre-teen. I am sure he was trying to correct behavior that was inappropriate at the time. When I left to go home after hearing this, I was mad. I couldn't believe this guy would not only call me out, but humiliate me in front of my friends. I was determined to prove him wrong. I sat on the floor of my bedroom and wrote down 64 life goals. Looking back on the moment I started writing down my goals it reminds me of the time I asked my Third grade class what they would do with $100. They said things like, " I would buy a Ferrari!" " I want to buy the biggest house in the world!" I didn't want to crush the dreams of 9 year olds, so I just went along with it. My 12 year old mind was dreaming of the Eiffel Tower, swimming with dolphins, skydiving, learning a foreign language...and the list goes on.
There is no significance to why I wrote down 64 goals. I just couldn't think of anything else. My goals were very lofty. Most of them required years of work to accomplish. I tucked that list away and went forward with my life. several years later I had just turned 23. I found that list when I was packing up to move to a new job in a new city. I saw the envelope with the words "Goals" written across the top. I stopped packing long enough to realize that I had accomplished 35 of those goals. At 48 years old, I have now accomplished 57.
I am convinced as Sirini Pillay stated above that the brain will process those dreams or goals and lead you towards them without ever knowing you are headed in that direction.
North Star Survival wholeheartedly adopts the core value of believing in your dreams, following individual intuition, and embracing ALL the possibilities that lie before us.

"We spend our time waiting for the ideal path to appear, but it never does. We forget that paths are made by walking not waiting." - marcandangel.com
